Andrea is a Colombian American actor, teaching artist and slam poet based in New York City. She speaks Spanish, English, and French fluently.
She graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Drama + minors in French & Applied Theatre. There, she trained at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Stonestreet Film + TV Studio, and spent a semester abroad in Paris.
Upon graduation, Andrea did the 9-month Acting Apprenticeship at Actors Theatre of Louisville, where she got to perform in The 42nd Annual Humana Festival as well as on the Mainstage (Dracula, A Christmas Carol, Little Bunny Foo Foo), and subsequently signed with her current representation: HCKR Agency + Ingber & Associates.
When she's not on stage, you can find her doing one of many other things: serving as a teaching artist with ASTEP (Artists Striving End Poverty), Classic Stage Company/Manhattan Youth + other arts outreach organizations, drinking lots and LOTS of coffee, or performing her slam poetry.
